It keeps out the rain and wind and is also breathable. At the areas subjected to greater wear and tear from bags or pack straps, Jack Wolfskin have used extra robust Texapore Oxford fabric.The hood has a fake fur trim for added protection from the wind and this can be zipped off when not needed.
